At CircuitHub we strive to consistently increase our capacity and offerings in order to provide top-notch prototyping and production services.
Our fastest lead times and lowest prices for small orders come from the Grid, our rapid assembly line. Some specifications mean the Grid cannot build a project, and it is quoted on our Conventional line instead. If you can avoid these, you will see faster lead times and lower costs on smaller orders.
The Grid cannot build a project with any of these:
- Board size: larger than 215 × 199 mm for boards at least 1.6 mm thick, or 205 × 150 mm for thinner boards.
- Very small, thin boards: 15 mm or less in both width and length on a board thinner than 1 mm.
- 01005 components: any at all.
- 0201 components on thin boards: any 0201 component on a board 0.6 mm thick or thinner.
Projects with a lot of 0201 components or through-hole parts, or very large orders, can still be built on the Grid, but they may also be offered on the Conventional line.
