RMA process and warranty
How to return a defective product to CircuitHub for repair, and the warranty terms and exclusions that apply.
At CircuitHub, one of our most important values is in our quality standards. We demand high quality of ourselves because we believe it's what our customers deserve. Our factory is ISO 9001 registered, we build all assemblies following the IPC J-STD-001 and inspect all assemblies to IPC-A-610 Class 2. We follow strict guidelines in all our processes, including on the rare occasion when a customer needs to return a product.
We are committed to resolving all issues in a quick and respectful manner and we learn from these to ensure that they do not happen again in the future.
It is our goal that no customer ever has to return a product, but if this does happen we make it our priority to correct these as quickly as possible because we know how important time and quality are to all our customers.
CircuitHub provides a limited warranty covering the repair of defective products manufactured by us, subject to the terms outlined in our RMA process. This warranty applies only to repairs necessary to restore functionality and does not cover full product rebuilds or replacements if a repair is feasible. If a defective unit can be repaired, CircuitHub reserves the right to proceed with the repair rather than a full rebuild or replacement. Any requests for rebuilds beyond necessary repairs will be subject to separate pricing and approval.
How to return a product to circuitHub (RMA process)
If you need to return a product for repair or rework, you'll need to get approval from CircuitHub first. Here's how the process works:
- Request an RMA number – Before sending anything back, contact CircuitHub to get a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number. This helps us track and process your return efficiently.
- Provide a reason for return – When submitting your request, let us know why you're returning the item. All boards need to be tested and diagnosed by you so we know where to look and what to repair.
- Follow CircuitHub's return guidelines – Returns will be processed according to our Returned Material Procedure, which we're happy to provide upon request.
- Shipping costs & responsibility –
- If the return is valid (e.g., a confirmed defect), CircuitHub will cover the shipping costs both ways and take responsibility for the product while it's in transit.
- If the return is invalid or we find no defects, the customer is responsible for shipping costs plus a handling fee.
- Warranty on repaired or replaced Items – Any repaired or replacement product will be covered by the original warranty or for 90 days after you receive it, whichever is longer.
