Auto-detection of DNP parts
autodetecting "do no place" parts in Altium
CircuitHub can autodetect parts specified as DNP for Altium projects.
To do so in your schematic you should set the type to Standard (No BOM). More details on this can be found here: https://www.altium.com/documentation/17.1/display/ADES/Sch_Dlg-SchComponentPropertiesForm((Properties+for+Schematic+Component))_AD
If your project file declares design variants, the not fitted parts of the variant you choose at upload are also marked DNP.
We strongly advise uploading a .csv Bill of Materials (BOM) with your file upload for better detection of DNPs. For more details, see here.
