Handling failed units during functional testing
How do we handle and resolve units that have failed during functional testing
Generally, this is our process for when units fail during functional testing:
- We'll test them twice to rule out false positives.
- Failed units will be taken to an inspector for a thorough review of any possible manufacturing defects.
- The units will be tested again.
- Any units that still fail will be tagged with how they failed. Units will be shipped and the customer will be invoiced.
- If the customer finds some manufacturing defect, we will provide an RMA.
- Once we receive the units back we will fix them according to the customer's findings and test them again.
If any units still fail we will repeat the above process.
